Accounting Clerk

Key Responsibilities: 

• Filing and Documentation:
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records
• Recording transactions:
  • Weekly/Monthly retail center transactions
  • Inventory review and entry
  • Interoffice Invoicing entries
• Support Revenue Accountants
  • Sorting mail
  • Batching checks for entry
  • Processing refunds in various merchant accounts
  • Review/maintain donor records
• Communication with internal and external customers
  • Campus Teams – work with to streamline processes, ensure information is timely and accurate

Key Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Advanced excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience in Ministry is preferred but not required.

• A passion for reaching the lost
• Personal integrity in all areas of life
• Must be, or willing to become a participating member of CCV
• Consistently attends worship services with their family
• Is an active participant in a neighborhood group, and is a consistent tither.
