Assistant Compliance Manager

• - Support the management of the company’s compliance risk control function, including by identifying and assessing compliance risks associated with the company’s business activities, and advising on and monitoring measures to address those risks. 
• - Develop guidelines on the appropriate implementation of laws, regulations, rules and standards through policies and procedures. 
• - Assess the appropriateness of internal policies, procedures and guidelines, make recommendations for amendments and supervise implementation of measures. 
• - Conduct risk-based monitoring, compliance risk assessments and testing of compliance with internal policies, procedures and guidelines. 
• - Report the results on a regular basis to executive management. 
• - Educate staff with respect to compliance with applicable laws, regulations, rules and standards and act as adviser on compliance queries from staff. 
• - Liaise with relevant external bodies and regulators on compliance matters. 
• - Exercise defined reporting obligations such as to regulators. 
• - Establish and/or supervise appropriate compliance checks and controls. 

Qualifications

• - Experience as a compliance or legal professional in a relevant field is advantageous.  
• - Problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills and leadership skills. 
• - Good command of English. 
• - Independent, proactive.
