    Job description

    Our purpose is to help students deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, to qualify for the blessings of the temple, to prepare for missionary and Church service, and to build the kingdom of God. Church Schools provide students with an opportunity to obtain knowledge and skills that will assist them in their future educational and career endeavours. 

    Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities include:  

    • Build relationships and work with priesthood leaders, parents, students, school faculty and representatives in PBO in a professional manner

    • Facilitate the proper ordering of materials

    • Helps with finance administration, including purchasing, coding transactions, obtaining approvals

    • Be willing to accept and complete assignments given by supervisor and other faculty members

    • Provide system support to teachers and school, including assisting with library needs, enrolling students, updating, auditing, training and printing reports

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Degree or diploma in office management is highly regarded

    • Demonstrated knowledge of S&I policies and procedures

    • Has Knowledge of school programs, including PowerSchool would be an advantage

    • Proficient in database management software and Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint

    • 1 – 3 years of experience in office support or clerical functions including providing financial management support in a business setting

    • Demonstrated ability to organise work and track tasks to completion

    • Able to interface professionally with priesthood leaders, students and parents

    • Able to work normal business hours (8am – 5.00pm)

    • Has a valid driver’s license

    • Maintains and maintains temple worthiness standards

    • Police clearance is required.
