    Compensation: $24.00/hour

    Responsibilities

    The incumbent will regularly perform the following tasks:

    • Adhere to Tool Room schedule and report to the tool room supervisor
    • Run Wire EDM Machines, including job and workpiece setup
    • Run CNC machines, including job and workpiece setup
    • Log work and hours performed
    • Maintain EDM and CNC machines to ensure good working order
    • Basic machining (e.g. surface grinding, lathe work)
    • Ability to read technical prints, including understanding of GD&T
    • Metrology
    • Maintain and verify Tool Crib Inventory
    • Place purchase requisitions for the tool room
    • Heat treatment of tool steels
    • Follow safety regulations and requirements
    • Basic housekeeping
    • Support the tool room

    Less frequently, the incumbent will perform other duties as required that may include:

    Calling vendors for support on machines

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    •      Machining

    •      Metrology

    •      Ability to read technical drawings and schematics

    •      Wire EDM Machine Operation and Basic Maintenance

    •      CNC Machine Operation and Basic Maintenance

    •      Heat Treatment

    •      Basic Math

    Preferred Skills

    •      Microsoft Word and Excel

    •      CAD/CAM

    •      ERP

    •      Experience with Agie Charmilles              Cut20 and VP2 Machines

    Additional Notes

    Zierick will provide training and training opportunities to the incumbent to fulfill the job description.
