Responsible for overseeing Bank-wide General Ledger (GL), Bank and Nostro reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of outstanding items. This includes monitoring reconciliation performance, reviewing GL balances and variances, and ensuring compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
The role supports management reporting, audit and regulatory engagements, risk governance, and transformation initiatives, while providing insights to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve the overall reconciliation process. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for developing team capabilities and supporting strategic and ad hoc departmental initiatives.
