    Job description

    • Participate as independent parties in IT, Data and Project working committees where compliance considerations and inputs are required.
    • Facilitate, analyse, test and update (after the appropriate review and authorization) the rules, parameters, lists or datasets of these systems.
    • Provide support to develop/test data analytic trends for profiling, quality and cost performance scoring, risk modeling, program evaluation.
    • Provide recommendations on department policies, objectives and initiatives. 
    • Manage business expectations, manage process performance, conduct continuous improvement and causal analysis activities with business area.
    • Ensure the effective management of AML Compliance matters for in CIMB Group.
    • Assume active involvement in management of critical issues and provide solution, where needed.
    • Advise stakeholders on AML Compliance related and regulatory issues, as required.
    • Support the stakeholders in establishing appropriate monitoring mechanism for meeting regulatory obligations in the conduct of their businesses and in accordance with Group Compliance policies and procedures.
    • Ensure the implementation of appropriate and effective risk based AML monitoring.
    • Oversee the development of 1AML system architecture and support.
    • Provide business support / help desk on the AML system.
    • Participate in the on-going projects related to AML system. 
    • Participate in the user acceptance testing for projects related to the AML system. 
    • Review and update system documentation and system training material related to AML system. 
    • Ensure timely and proper record-keeping of MIS.
    • Develop user guides and specialist training on systems and analytics capabilities. 
    • Proactively analyzes with the business side on the schedule of activities and coordinate with the Delivery Manager.
    • Develop presentations, dashboards, reports, and other team project communications and documentation.
    • Timely execution of instructions received from superior(s) and/or the regulators.
    • Perform any other responsibilities / tasks that are required or requested by senior management from time to time.

    Management

    • Support the Regional  & Malaysia Heads, Group Financial Crime Compliance and stakeholders in meeting CIMB Group’s business and strategic objectives.
    • Any other responsibilities / tasks as assigned by the Group Legal and Chief Compliance Officer from time to time.
    • Representing Group Financial Crime Compliance to review on IT/data projects, systems and system operations compliance on both existing and new systems.

    People Management

    • Advice and sharing of best practises with team members in enhance their competency in performing their roles and responsibilties.
    • Liaise with the system users, vendors & stakeholders on udpates, maintenance and other adminstrations initiatives.
