Front Office Coordinator

Urology Associates, P.C. - Mt. Juliet is seeking a Front Office Coordinator to join their clinic in Mt. Juliet!

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, positive, and friendly to greet our patients at the front desk. Interested candidates for the Front Office Coordinator position should be able to multi-task with a smile. This is a busy medical practice with a high volume of patients. Candidates should be able to keep up in a fast-paced job environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Welcome patients
• Answer phones
• Check and sort faxes
• Obtain insurance and personal patient information and update the computer system
• Collect copayments and balances due
• Obtain current and future patient records
• Prepare medical charts
• Acquire insurance referrals
• Scan documents to medical records
• Reconcile daily batches - make deposit slips, maintain change and log everything daily

Education:

• A high school degree or GED is required for this position

Experience/Skills:

• Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, keyboarding, cash handling/making change.
• AllScripts PM and EHR systems along with a ShoreTel phone system, is a plus but not required.
• Microsoft Office Suite: 1 year (Preferred)
• Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
