    • Lead freight rate negotiations, service level agreements, and carrier contract development with immediate decision-making authority, balancing strong partnerships with profitability objectives in real-time
    • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing key performance indicators including load volume, freight margins, customer acquisition costs, and revenue outcomes—using data to inform rapid strategic decisions and demonstrate measurable impact within your first 90 days

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of direct freight brokerage experience with proven success in sourcing, qualifying, and closing new shipper and carrier partnerships—demonstrating ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
    • Established, active professional network of shippers and carriers that you can immediately activate to generate new business pipeline momentum from day one
    • Documented track record of consistently acquiring 2-6 new shipper accounts monthly with independent decision-making authority and measurable new revenue generation
    • Demonstrated expertise in freight rate negotiation, load pricing, and carrier contract development with full autonomy to execute deals and close partnerships rapidly
    • Deep knowledge of freight market dynamics, carrier capacity trends, lane economics, and regional shipper demand patterns—with ability to make rapid, independent strategic decisions to win new business
    • Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), load boards, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting freight metrics and customer acquisition costs to drive self-directed prospecting and closing strategies
