JOB TITLE: Meat Wrapper ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: FireLake Discount Foods SUPERVISOR: Meat Market Manager FLSA: Non-Exempt RATE OF PAY: $12.00 to $17.00 ALL FULL-TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.
JOB SUMMARY:
A meat wrapper is responsible for proper wrapping, stocking and presentation of market prepared items. Also responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standard, quality of product, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policy/store standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of customer service.
- 2.
- Ensure sales floor product is of highest quality and freshness.
- 3.
- Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandising promotions, test merchandise, and advertisements.
- 4.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
- 5.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock; ensures re-wraps are done promptly.

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention policies 7.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to communicate with associates and customers.

- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.

- Ability to freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area, and register area.

- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run department.
- 5.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- 6.
- Ability to move or transfer merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds.
- 7.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- 8.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
