    Job description

    💙 What you’ll be doing

    Every day as a Care Assistant is different, but your impact is always meaningful.

    Following personalised care plans, you’ll support clients to live safely, comfortably and independently in their own homes.

    Your responsibilities may include:

    • 💧 Providing dignified personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence support
    • 💊 Supporting with medication, including prompts and safe administration
    • 🚶 Assisting with mobility, transfers and the safe use of equipment
    • 🍲 Preparing meals and snacks while supporting individual dietary needs
    • 🧺 Helping with light household duties, including laundry, tidying and making beds
    • 🛒 Supporting with shopping, appointments and access to the local community
    • 💬 Providing companionship, conversation and emotional reassurance
    • 🤝 Encouraging social engagement and maintaining family connections
    • 👀 Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns or changes
    • 📝 Maintaining clear and accurate care records
    • 🛡️ Responding safely and calmly in an emergency
    • 🧩 Working closely with families, colleagues and healthcare professionals

    🦸 What you’ll need

    Previous care experience is welcomed, and ideally you’ll have at least six months’ experience within social care. However, your values, attitude and ability to care are just as important to us.

    We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you develop the confidence and skills required for the role.

    You’ll need:

    • A compassionate, respectful and caring nature
    • Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
    • Good communication and listening skills
    • A positive and proactive approach
    • Resilience and a willingness to learn
    • Flexibility to support clients across different shift patterns
    • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
    • The existing right to work in the UK
