    ๐Ÿ’™ What Youโ€™ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

    As a Field Care Supervisor, your core focus will be to guarantee the delivery of the highest quality care support services. While your role will entail vital office-based administrative work, you will spend the majority of your working time out in the field. Your supervisory duties will include:

    • ๐Ÿ“‹ Assessments, Reviews & QA: Carrying out robust initial risk and needs assessments (in homes or hospital/residential settings). Conducting regular care reviews with clients and families, ensuring care plans remain accurate and person-centred. Carrying out care quality audits, gathering client feedback, reporting findings, and following up on action plans.
    • ๐Ÿค Team Supervision & Leadership: Providing practical supervision, instruction, and emotional support to frontline Care Assistants. Conducting regular spot checks, supervisions, and competency assessments in service users' homes. Acting as a primary point of contact for care staff.
    • ๐ŸŽ“ Training & Onboarding: Assisting with the onboarding, induction, and ongoing development of new staff. Shadowing new care workers in the field, identifying training needs, and supporting carers with performance improvement.
    • ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ CQC Compliance & Safeguarding: Monitoring and maintaining CQC compliance, ensuring regulatory standards are met. Supporting the Registered Manager in preparing for CQC inspections and internal audits. Responding to concerns, incidents, and safeguarding matters.
    • ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Rota Strategy & Operations: Working collaboratively with Care Coordinators to support the planning of realistic, effective care worker rotas. Participating in the on-call rota as required.
    • ๐ŸŒ Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Participating actively in multi-disciplinary reviews. Liaising and building positive relationships with service users, families, internal teams, and healthcare professionals.
    • ๐Ÿ’ป Documentation & Systems: Ensuring accurate and timely documentation using care management systems. Maintaining up-to-date records, including supervision notes, spot check reports, and compliance documentation.

    What Youโ€™ll Need (Essential Requirements)

    We welcome applications from experienced care professionals, as well as candidates from other sectors with strong people management, coaching, or operational experience.

    • โœ… Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Field Supervisor in the UK care sector (Experience within a domiciliary care setting is highly desirable). Experience supervising, supporting, coaching, or managing people.
    • โœ… Knowledge: Strong understanding of CQC standards, regulations, and compliance requirements. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and best practice.
    • โœ… Assessment & QA Skills: Proven hands-on experience conducting risk/needs assessments, spot checks, supervisions, audits, and competency assessments.
    • โœ… Tech & Admin Skills: Familiarity with care management systems and a good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
    • โœ… Driving & Travel: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is absolutely essential, alongside a willingness to travel extensively across England.
    • โœ… Attributes: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills. A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
    • โœ… Availability: Available to join the team ASAP!
