This is a broad job description. Employees in this classification with additional essential job functions, education/experience, licenses/certifications, or knowledge/skills/abilities may be placed at a higher tier within the assigned pay grade. The requirements for advancement to a higher tier will be determined by the City Manager.

- Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Course #3031: Selective Traffic
Enforcement Program for Traffic Enforcement Camera Systems (24 hours).
- Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) training and certification.
- Public records and records management training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise reports and correspondence.
- Articulate speaker with the ability to convey complex information clearly in English and to provide accurate, professional testimony in hearings and court proceedings.
-Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Ability to review and interpret data, statutes, and policies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in records management systems, databases, and standard office software.
- Ability to learn and operate traffic enforcement camera systems and related software platforms.
- Ability to interact professionally with the public, attorneys, court officials, and law enforcement personnel.
- Ability to handle sensitive or potentially confrontational situations with professionalism.
