Lead Diesel Technician - Fleet Mechanic Pay will be commensurate with experience Are you an experienced technician looking for a good new opportunity? We'd like to talk with you! ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repairs and maintains customer vehicles and mechanical equipment such as engines, transmissions, and other equipment by performing the following
duties:
- Perform PMIs on tractors, trailers and other diesel-powered equipment.
- Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs.
- Test drive vehicles.
- Assist and lead other technicians PHYSICAL and SAFETY
REQUIREMENTS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
- The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
- Must be able to read and write reports.
- Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. ?
- CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid driver license Must be willing to Get a CDL if you don’t have one.
- EXPERIENCE /
EDUCATION:
- Minimum 7 years diesel tech experience required Certificate or Degree from Diesel Training Program Preferred Clarke is over 60 years strong and growing.
