DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The listed examples may not include all the duties performed by all positions in this class.
- Courtroom security and bailiff operations, inmate transport support, and learning judicial procedures.
- Assist staff with administrative and support tasks, booking and inmate movement, and learn correctional operations under supervision.
- Participate in supervised rides along with patrol deputies to observe calls for service, traffic enforcement, and community policing.
- Assist with community outreach, traffic control, administrative tasks, and public service events.
- Observe investigative processes, case preparation, and evidence handling procedures.
- Participate in orientation, safety training, ethics instruction, and agency-approved learning activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
