Talent and Operations Manager - University Development Team

JOB SUMMARY:

Clemson University's University Development Team is looking for a Talent & Operations Manager to fulfill the duties outlined below.
- Manages operational processes, procedures, logistics, and reporting for the University Development Team (UDT).
- The role provides support in the areas of team operations, budget tracking and fundraising reporting & analytics.
- It serves as the primary liaison for the football donor invitation processes, coordinating communications and operational logistics across internal partners.
- Responsibilities include developing and maintaining process documentation, supporting initiatives for UDT, generating analytics and reporting to support leadership decision-making, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve team fundraising efficiency and effectiveness.
- Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

25% - Football Process & UDT Events Liaison:
Serves as the primary liaison between the University Development Team and Advancement Events, ensuring effective communication and execution of the football donor invitation processes. Collaborates with internal partners, including college and unit leaders and events team members, to coordinate invitee identification, game credentialing, communications, waitlist management, and gameday logistics for multiple suites, while supporting continuous improvement of operational processes and the donor experience.

30% - Fundraising Reporting & Analysis:
Owns the monthly reporting cycle for UDT's fundraising reports. Proactively generating and analyzing reports and tracking key performance metrics. This includes pipeline, opportunity, interaction, and gift data that supports leadership decision-making, data integrity and progress-to-goal tracking that ensures efficient and successful fundraising and team goal attainment. Manages the team budget tracking and reporting while improving the reporting process to ensure accuracy, consistency, and operational effectiveness.

45% - UDT Team Operations & Support:
Serves as a collaborative partner providing proactive operational support and solutions for UDT. Coordinates team meetings, communications, event logistics, and presentation materials that keep the team aligned, informed and focused on fundraising. Enhances operational efficiency through process improvement, documentation management, and the maintenance of resources and information across designated team platforms. Collects, analyzes, and disseminates team information, communications, and reporting data to support leadership decision-making, and team operations. Coordinates team engagement, employee recognition, and resource programs, including the management and distribution of related materials. Collaborates with talent management team and supports recruitment, onboarding and employee development processes for UDT personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and relevant program experience.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

Expected Salary Range

$30K - $60K

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL:

Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
