This is a founding-stage full-stack engineering role at an early-stage energy software company building an end-to-end platform for industrial battery storage. You will own core product across the entire stack, directly shaping both the technology and the company's trajectory. The work touches real-time optimization, AI-driven forecasting, and infrastructure that manages significant energy assets across Europe.
Own and build the core product driving real-time optimization and forecasting for industrial energy assets.
Develop backend services and mixed-integer optimization algorithms to process data in real time.
Create frontend dashboards that allow battery operators to monitor and control their assets.
Design and scale cloud infrastructure to support thousands of battery systems.
Collaborate across functions to define product features and translate deployment feedback into improvements.
Up to five years of full-stack engineering experience, including production applications.
Strong frontend skills with JavaScript/TypeScript, React (Next.js preferred), and Tailwind CSS.
Solid backend experience with Python, including optimization or forecasting systems.
Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Background in a fast-paced startup environment (small team, early stage).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering with strong academic results.
Fluency or near-fluency in German, as the primary customer base is German-speaking.
Experience deploying optimizations or real-time data processing systems in production is a strong plus.
Prior exposure to the energy industry is a plus.
Salary range: 70,000 to 100,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
On-site, five days per week in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
