Surgical Technologists play a vital role in supporting surgeons and RNs throughout operative procedures, helping ensure high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgery. In this position within the Ophthalmology Surgical Center, responsibilities include preparing and maintaining sterile fields, checking supplies and equipment, passing instruments, and supporting proper sterilization processes following procedures.
This role supports a variety of eye surgeries and procedures in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. It offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in the operating room while contributing to positive outcomes for patients and caregivers. You’ll be part of a growing workspace with Cole Eye at Main, working alongside a collaborative team with a strong, supportive culture.
A caregiver in this position works days + on-call requirements from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. or 10:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. after orientation. For on-call requirements, you must be on site within 1 hour. Orientation is 3 months Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
