New Product Development Specialist

As a **NPD Specialist,** you will lead the end-to-end journey of new product development — from concept ideation to market launch. You will collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, regulatory, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality, effective, and compliant skincare products. .**Key Responsibilities** * **Product Conceptualisation -** Develop and refine innovative skincare product concepts based on market trends, consumer insights, and brand strategy. * **Project Management -** Own and drive the NPD lifecycle, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are achieved. * **Cross-Functional Collaboration -** Work closely with different teams including packaging, procurement, regulatory, marketing, and operations teams to take products from concept to shelf. * **Ingredient & Formulation Development -** Identify key actives, evaluate prototypes, and refine formulations for performance, stability, and safety.

Coordinate with derma-focused manufacturers and vendors. * **Consumer Testing & Validation -** Oversee sensory testing, trials, and consumer feedback loops to validate product-market fit. * **Regulatory & Compliance -** Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (BIS, FDA, EU, etc.), including claims, labelling, and documentation. * **Budget & Resource Management -** Monitor NPD budgets and manage resources efficiently. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Cosmetology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field** * 3–5 years of experience in NPD within skincare / personal care / cosmeceuticals * Proven track record of successfully launching skincare products * Strong understanding of formulation science and regulatory compliance * Experience working with manufacturers in the derma space (preferred) * Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills * Strong awareness of beauty industry trends and ingredient innovation
