About the Role
We’re looking for a smart, resourceful, and analytically strong individual to join our Financial Services team as Strategy & Operations Manager (Financial Services). This role is an opportunity to help build and scale a growing business within Clutch, working across Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, Sales, and our external lending partners.
We’re looking for a high-agency generalist who can flex across different problems, bring structure to ambiguity, and independently take ideas from analysis through execution.
What You'll Do
Drive Strategic Projects
- Lead strategic initiatives across Financial Services, from identifying opportunities through analysis, execution, and measurement.
- Help identify and execute opportunities to grow our financing and insurance business and expand the number of customers we can serve.
- Build business cases, analyses, reports, and recommendations independently to drive decision-making.
Work Cross-Functionally to Build
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and Sales to improve our product offering and customer journey.
- Translate business problems into actionable solutions, whether that means digging into data, building a mockup, or helping define a new product or process.
- Move quickly from identifying a problem to testing and implementing solutions.
Support Financial Services Strategy
- Analyze customer, funnel, and financial performance to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
- Bring a Financial Services lens to product and business decisions across Clutch.
- Build and manage relationships with major Canadian lenders and other external partners.
Self-Learning & Experimentation
- Take initiative to learn new tools and technologies with minimal handholding.
- Use AI and modern tools to analyze problems, build faster, and improve how the team operates.
- Thrive in an environment where many of the problems you’ll tackle don't come with an existing playbook.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy & operations, product, fintech, financial services, or a high-performing startup environment.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to solve complex business problems.
- Proven ability to independently own projects from problem definition through execution.
- Strong builder mentality. You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves and creating the analysis, process, mockup, or solution yourself.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to move quickly across different types of problems.
- Strong cross-functional skills, particularly working with Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High-agency, curious, and resourceful. You take ownership and don’t wait to be told what to do.
Nice to Have
- Experience in consumer lending, banking, credit, or fintech.
- Management consulting experience within Financial Services.
- Experience working on financial products or partnering closely with Product teams.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 - $170,000 annually plus stock options
- Benefits: Comprehensive healthcare, dental, vision, prescriptions, life insurance, and dependent coverage; starting from day 1.
