DESCRIPTION

The Foreman is responsible for directing work and monitoring the quality of work performed. The foreman is also responsible for directly performing a wide variety of skilled construction tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Complete daily and weekly planning and scheduling of work activities for the team based on level of skill and time availability

· Use small hand and power tools, welding equipment, measuring and testing devices as well as equipment and materials applicable to construction, and carpentry to accomplish tasks

· Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, sketches and schematics as required

· Complete daily reports when required

· Participate in project-specific safety initiatives and proactively identify safety concerns; perform safety checks and inspections

· May need to act as project lead and/or point of contact for CML depending on the project

· Manage all necessary project compliance, including inspections and certifications

· Effectively plan and effectively manage tasks to minimize unexpected and urgent situations

· Maintain a clean, orderly and organized job site

· Manage tools, consumables and material resources with consideration of the project budget

· Maintain all tools and equipment to ensure all are in safe and working order

· Operate tools and machinery as required

· Lift up to 50lbs

· Communicate regularly and effectively as appropriate

· Maintain the standards, culture and values of CML Security

· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· High school diploma or GED preferred

· 3 Years of related experience, specifically in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction preferred
