We employ 300 staff at our Gillman head office and in our regional depots in Port Augusta, Whyalla, Port Pirie, Kadina, Clare, Berri and Victor Harbor. This network enables us to provide next-day express freight services to all South Australia (Metro and Regional), Broken Hill and Mildura.

About the position:

We are seeking skilled MR Truck Drivers to join our hardworking and passionate team in Port Pirie. We currently have both Casual and Permanent Full-Time positions available.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating an MR truck and transporting goods to various destinations while adhering to all road safety regulations.

You will ensure the timely and efficient delivery and collection of goods, maintain accurate records, and perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Approximate shift start times will vary between 5:00am and 7:00am, depending on operational and customer requirements.

About you:

• Holder of a current MR Licence or greater.
• Holder of a current High Risk Forklift Licence.
• Excellent driving skills with a strong driving record.
• Experience in the transport industry, with the ability to adapt and work reliably.
• Physically fit and passionate about what you do.
• Ability to work unsupervised and adhere to safety standards.
• Competent in the use of IT and modern equipment, including touch screens and scanners.
• Able to safely work in a fast-paced, customer-focused team environment.
• Well-presented with good interpersonal and customer service skills.
