Founding Operations

## About the role You're the "do-everything" ops person for the US. You'll own the student and instructor operating system so the CEO isn't interviewing professors, running Course Creator walkthroughs, and assigning commissions by hand. Think founding ops generalist, not a process accountant. This is a **full-time, in-person role**: you'll work from our San Francisco office every day. ## What you'll do * Source, screen, and coordinate founding US instructors end to end. * Run instructor onboarding: product walkthroughs, Course Creator, teaching standards, schedules, and operating expectations. * Stand up and manage live commissions, including start dates, capacity, staffing, handoffs, and day-to-day execution. * Own the student operational experience and act as the main bridge between students and the company: listen to their needs, identify recurring pain points, and make sure feedback turns into concrete improvements. * Monitor student experience, engagement, and operational issues throughout each cohort, coordinating with the right teams to resolve blockers quickly. * Build and maintain operational forecasts for upcoming cohorts, including expected staffing needs, capacity, launches, and resource requirements. * Use forecasts and operating data to anticipate needs, flag risks early, and help leadership make decisions around growth and capacity. * Keep the day-to-day US ops board clean and actionable: students, instructors, calendar, staffing, blockers, and key operational metrics. * Partner closely with Product and LatAm Ops so the US runs on the same platform and core operating model without reinventing it. * Turn early-stage, manual processes into simple and scalable workflows as volume grows. * Be the on-the-ground operational owner in San Francisco as we grow into a small WeWork / office setup. ## What we're looking for * You've been the ops / chief of staff / program manager who made a small team look big. * You're sharp with people (instructors and students) and with systems. * You're comfortable in ambiguity and happy wearing five hats in year one. * You're based in (or relocating to) San Francisco and can be in the office every day. ## Bonus points * Edtech, marketplace, or live cohort experience. * Comfortable in English; Spanish is a plus, not required. #### What we offer * Competitive cash for a founding ops hire, plus meaningful upside as we scale the US. * We'll share the range on a first call.
