Geological Technician - Temporary Contract:

The Coeur Silvertip mine located in British Columbia, just 10 miles south of the Yukon border is seeking a Geological Technician (Temporary) to work in a camp-based environment rotating on a two week in/two week out shift rotation.

Responsibilities: 

• Complete geotechnical logging of oriented diamond drill core;
• Maintain core logging data in database;
• Sample and cut diamond drill core (fit-tested respirator required);
• Track and catalogue drill core and samples;
• Manage core sample shipments;
• Perform pre-operational checks, operate equipment, and perform all job functions according to Safe Operating Procedures;
• Assist geologists as required.

• Willing to work a two-week rotation schedule, with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp.
• Eligible for monthly bonus.
• Our current designated marshalling locations are Vancouver, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Calgary, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Teslin, and Watson Lake.
