€14.15-€14.40 per hour | 20-40 hours/week available | Training Provided | Immediate Start

Coffee Shop Assistant needed for busy specialty coffee shop in Dublin City (Full-time and Part-time positions available).

No previous experience required - we provide complete training on all aspects of the role including customer service, food preparation, and coffee making.

What you'll do

Customer Service:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Deliver food orders to tables and describe menu items
• Handle customer concerns professionally

Shop Maintenance:

• Keep the shop clean and presentable throughout the day
• Clear and sanitise tables between customers
• Wash dishes, equipment, and utensils
• Support setup and breakdown of outdoor seating areas
• Help prepare for the next day's service

Team Support:

• Work flexibly across different tasks as needed
• Operate the till after training
• Assist with stock management and minimise waste
• Report equipment issues to management
• Follow health, safety, and food hygiene procedures

What we are looking for

Essential Requirements

• Friendly and positive personality
• Excellent customer service approach
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work various shifts including weekends
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods
• Interest in coffee and hospitality

Desirable, but not essential

• Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service
• Food safety awareness
• Cash handling experience

Pay & Benefits:

• €14.15-€14.40 per hour
