What You'll Do
- Implement, test, and maintain backend components and services using Java and Spring Boot with support from senior team members;
- Collaborate with Senior Developers and Team Leads to understand technical designs and break down user stories into implementable tasks;
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring correctness, maintainability, and appropriate performance for assigned features;
- Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to integration testing efforts;
- Use Git for version control by following branching strategies, creating pull requests, and addressing code review feedback;
- Help maintain application reliability and responsiveness by fixing bugs, investigating performance issues, and improving logging;
- Collaborate with the Sustaining Engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve production issues within the scope of assigned responsibilities;
- Participate in the team’s CI/CD process by ensuring builds pass, tests run successfully, and deployments follow established procedures;
- Participate in retrospectives, share lessons learned, and contribute to incremental process and code improvements;
- Follow company policies and contribute to a professional, collaborative, and communicative team environment;
Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience working as Java Developer;
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms;
- Familiarity with RESTful concepts and HTTP fundamentals;
- Introductory knowledge of DBMS concepts, preferably MySQL;
- Familiarity with Git and version control practices;
- Foundational understanding of software engineering concepts, including design patterns and multithreading;
- Awareness of CI/CD concepts and automated testing practices;
- Interest in SaaS products and enterprise software architecture;
- Willingness to learn NoSQL technologies;
- Experience with one of cloud platforms or services;
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture, with practical experience preferred;
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher;
