Customer Success Engineer

Equipment Responsibilities (70%)

• Serves as the on-site equipment domain expert for semiconductor final test handlers — pick-and-place platforms (MATRiX, MT9510) and gravity-feed platforms (SO1K/2K, MT9918).

• Provides proficient recommendations for simple to complex equipment-related issues; guides root-cause analysis through to resolution.

• Offers technical guidance during repair and maintenance work on an as-needed basis, including acting as a backup support resource when service personnel are unavailable.

• Uses equipment experience to identify improvement and feature opportunities for the customer and internal teams.

• Drives critical tasks to closure — bold enough to push internal teams or the customer when resolution demands it.

• Leads technical gathering and translates business needs into technical scope.

Customer Success Responsibilities (30%)

• Serves as the primary on-site point of contact, building trusted-advisor relationships at operational and management levels.

• Monitors account health, engagement, and satisfaction; proactively mitigates risks.

• Advocates for the customer internally by channeling feedback to product, engineering, and support teams.

• Coordinates with sales and applications teams to identify growth opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on repair and maintenance experience on semiconductor final test handlers — MATRiX, MT9510, SO1/2K, MT9918 strongly preferred; experience with other pick-and-place and gravity-feed handlers will also be considered.

• Good electromechanical skills and above-average troubleshooting skills.

• Working knowledge of common AI tools to support troubleshooting, documentation, and analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

• Willingness to be based at the customer site at least 90% of the time; travel within the Philippines with occasional international travel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
