Unleash your Potential

As a Vision Product Engineering Manager, you own the quality of what your team hands to operations and service, you make sure customer specifications are met at engineering level, and you help shape global vision technology strategy with our R&D and innovation center.

You will play an important role in:

• Leadership. Build leadership and commitment in your engineering leads, and structure the team around objectives that clearly matter.

• Customer specification. Make sure requirements are correctly captured and genuinely met at engineering level, not discovered late.

• Harmonization. Drive standardization across products and processes and improve manufacturability so good designs stay good in volume.

• Deliverable quality. Raise the systemic quality of what leaves engineering — descriptions, instructions, controls and complete systems — so operations and service can run with it.

• Technical strategy. Contribute to global Vision Engineering strategy with the Head of R&D, and keep an active, two-way relationship with our innovation centers.

• Quality and excellence. Own the KPIs that drive the department, add the ones that are missing, and act on what they tell you.

• Continuous improvement. Keep design rules, checklists, processes and training moving forward rather than ageing quietly.

• Team and resources. Plan and coordinate engineering resources across internal and external customer deliverables, pre-sales support and post-delivery projects.

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related engineering field.

• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience, with in-depth product knowledge and industry background.

• Sharp problem-solving and self-motivation — you find the root cause rather than the workaround.

• The range to run several projects at once and to work equally well independently and inside a team.

• Strong spoken and written English, for customers, colleagues and global R&D alike.

• Willingness to travel — moderate to high, domestic and international.

Backgrounds that fit: Vision, Product, Applications or Test Engineering Manager; machine vision, inspection or metrology engineering lead; or a senior engineer in semiconductor equipment or industrial automation ready to take on a department.
