Technical Service Representative

We are seeking a full-time Insurance Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, processing policy changes, and ensuring superior service delivery in alignment with company values and standards.

So, what will you spend your days doing?

• Processes Personal Lines Renewals, Endorsements, Cancellations for the Personal and Commercial Departments

• Ensures documentation received from our insurance partners is received and accurate

• Bills policies automatically or manually and adds them to EPIC (BMS)

• Ensures Download, ADI and EDOCS have been received on all download companies 

• Ensures EDOCS are named appropriately

• Ensures that servicing and PR/BR are correct on the file.

• Updates the Master Renewal list when a renewal has been received and reviewed. 

• Manually renews lines, or issues Service Summary lines for non-download companies

• Ensures wherever possible documentation is emailed to insureds, and where there is no direct mail the client received documentation via email or mail

• Confirms that policies have the required coverages in comparison to checklists and applications

• Advises the broker on file of discrepancies and billing deviances

• Ensures download, EDOCS and billing is received and named appropriately

• Uses predefined templates (email and letter) are used appropriately for sending correspondence to insureds

• Provides back up to reception when required

Qualifications

• Professional, ethical and courteous in all dealings with companies, clients and co-workers.

• A committed team player capable of multi-tasking and adaptable to change 

• Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize

• Punctual with strong attention to detail

• Has a thorough understanding of systems and processes of Miller Insurance 

• Ability to calculate premiums and percentages for client files

• Promotes positive communication

Compensation and Benefits 

We believe in being transparent about compensation. Our salary ranges reflect the skills, experience, and responsibilities required for each role while providing opportunities for growth as you develop your career with us.

Candidates with extensive, directly relevant experience will typically be hired at or near the midpoint of the salary range. The upper end of the range is generally reserved for team members who consistently demonstrate exceptional performance, make a meaningful impact, and continue to grow within their role. Those who are earlier in their career or building experience may join below the midpoint, with opportunities to progress over time.

Your final salary will be based on your experience, skills, qualifications, and the value you bring to the role.
