Columbia University, School of Professional Studies (SPS) seeks candidates to serve as a part-time Lecturer to teach a graduate-level course in AI User Interfaces for
Analytics. The course delivers a comprehensive understanding of the principles of UX design, as well as techniques and best practices for developing user interfaces (UIs).
Students will learn how to create intuitive, interactive, and visually engaging websites and dashboards surfacing AI-generated insights. The curriculum covers the entire process from design and implementation to the evaluation of UIs. Students gain hands-on experience with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related cloud services. Additionally, the course integrates apply state-of-the-art AI technologies for creating intelligent and interactive UIs.

Columbia University SPS operates under a scholar-practitioner faculty model, which enables students to learn from faculty possessing outstanding academic training as well as a record of accomplishment as practitioners in an applied industry setting.

Salary range: $11,000 - $13,000 per semester long course
