We're looking for an experienced, organized, and energetic Sales & Catering Coordinator to join our team and provide essential support to our Sales Team. You'll play an important role in bringing meetings and events to life while building relationships with clients and working closely with hotel operations.

As our Sales & Catering Coordinator, you'll be an important point of contact for clients and guests throughout the sales and event process. You'll help turn plans into memorable experiences while keeping the details—and the team—organized.
Your responsibilities will include:
Support the Sales Team with leads, group detailing, events, site tours, event planning, and event execution.
Coordinate room blocks, groups, schedules, BEOs, group billing, event billing, filing, and client communications.
Create and manage room blocks according to contracts, including special room concessions, rates, and commissions.
Assist with group reservations as needed.
Monitor and manage room blocks using group history reports and client information to maximize hotel revenue and make adjustments when necessary.
Ensure all sales-related materials are accurate and completed on time.
Respond to client needs throughout the sales and event process.
Work closely with hotel departments to ensure successful group and event execution.
Provide sales office coverage, including answering phones and managing correspondence.
Provide administrative support to the Sales Team, including assigning activities, assisting with site tours, and preparing reports.
Assist with the coordination and execution of groups, meetings, and events on the day of the event.
Prepare group resumes, weekly BEOs, reports, correspondence, and other materials as requested.
Process Rewards points for group contacts following events.
Anticipate guest and operational needs and take initiative to address them.
Participate in proactive sales activities, including sales blitzes, phone and email marketing, and social media initiatives.
Jump in wherever needed to help the team deliver an exceptional guest experience.
We're looking for someone who brings energy, organization, and genuine hospitality to everything they do.
You may be a great fit if you have:
Previous related experience; hotel experience preferred.
Customer service experience is a plus.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
An energetic, outgoing, and highly personable approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
The ability to compile, analyze, and communicate information and data.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
The ability to handle challenging situations professionally and find solutions.
The ability to work independently and stay motivated.
The ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time-management skills.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software.
