Floor Nurse - Weekend Option-Tupelo Community Care Center

We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of Floor Nurse - Weekend Option at Tupelo Community Care Center. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

Work Saturday & Sunday and receive pay for 24hrs and get paid for 32hrs!

Available Shift:  Saturday/Sunday- 7p-7a

What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications:

• · Evaluates the physical, emotional, and social needs of the residents.
• · Reviews residents care plans, assures plans are followed and documents resident medical records.
• · Supervises care provided by the Nursing Assistants assigned to the unit, providing intervention, education, and assignment adjustments.
• · Prepares and administers medication and treatments.
• · Consults with physicians.
• · Receives and records orders as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

• · Current Mississippi Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse license-current/active
• · CPR certification preferred
• · Long-term care experience preferred

Other Qualifications:

• · Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
• · Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
