Location: South East, this is a home-based role that also requires travel around Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey, East & West Sussex and London

Salary: £42,000, depending upon experience
Hours: Full Time, an average of 37 per week, Mon–Fri
What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead day-to-day workforce performance, capability and conduct across the region, ensuring employees and volunteers are clear on expectations, feel supported, and are empowered to deliver high-quality outcomes. This is a people-led operational leadership role managing dispersed teams and volunteers, driving performance and capability, and ensuring the effective delivery of regional operational priorities.
You’ll build strong relationships across a dispersed team and turn regional direction into clear, practical action. This includes deploying people and resources effectively to meet commemoration and horticulture standards, and making sure volunteers are fully and safely integrated into day-to-day operations.
You’ll play a key role in creating a consistent, high-performing environment - where people understand what good looks like and feel supported to deliver it.

The work of the commission is not only out on the field, but in our head office too, which contributes to the meaningful commemoration of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
