What you’ll be doing
Working closely with the Internal Communications Manager, you'll play a key role in helping colleagues across our global organisation feel informed, connected and engaged. This is a busy, varied role where building relationships is essential. You'll spend time getting to know colleagues from across the CWGC, from gardeners, stonemasons and regional managers to IT, Marketing and beyond, uncovering stories that showcase their achievements and bringing them to life through engaging internal communications.

Much of your time will be focused on creating and publishing content for our intranet, producing regular staff communications, supporting Town Halls and virtual events, and ensuring colleagues receive timely and relevant updates. Working across different countries, cultures and time zones, you'll need to adapt your approach to different audiences and communication channels, demonstrating strong cultural awareness and a genuine interest in connecting people through great communication.

You'll be naturally organised and able to manage competing priorities, knowing when to take initiative, when to escalate an issue, and how to keep multiple projects moving forward at once. You'll have the support of a hands-on and collaborative manager, while also being trusted to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

We're looking for someone who enjoys finding a story, transforming information into content that captures attention and helps colleagues understand and celebrate what is happening across the organisation. Experience creating multimedia content would be valuable, and skills in photography or videography would be a welcome bonus.

Through your work, you'll help strengthen engagement with CWGC's CARE Values, celebrate colleague achievements, and ensure our people understand our priorities, successes and the impact of their work, wherever they are in the world.

What you need to have

• Strong writing skills, with the ability to turn information and messages into clear, creative and engaging stories
• Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence building relationships with colleagues at all levels
• A genuine interest in employee engagement and internal communications
• The ability to work in a global environment, demonstrating cultural awareness and adapting communication styles for colleagues across different countries
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Experience creating and publishing digital content, including intranet articles, newsletters, and other employee-facing communications
• The ability to analyse engagement data and use insights to continually improve the effectiveness of communications
• Good judgement and attention to detail
