As a Business Process Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the experience we provide to our members and employees. Using your technical expertise and problem-solving skills, you’ll partner with teams across the Credit Union to identify opportunities, streamline processes, and develop technology-driven solutions using digital signature, document management, and workflow technologies. As a Business Process Automation Engineer, you will:
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for our digital signature, document management, and workflow systems, staying current on technology capabilities and applying them to business needs.
- Partner with business teams and leaders to design, implement, and support workflow and automation solutions that improve employee and member experiences.
- Research and recommend technologies and solutions that improve functionality, efficiency, and the experiences of our members and employees.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain automation technologies to ensure reliable and secure operation.
- Facilitate change management and coordinate implementation efforts with IT teams and business users.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, processes, and procedures to support and train internal teams.
- Assist with disaster recovery planning for automated processes.
- Help ensure technology solutions meet security, regulatory, and organizational compliance requirements.
Ideal Candidates will have a combination of:
- Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Five or more years of experience designing and/or delivering business process automation solutions.
- Experience with workflow, digital signature, document management, or automation technologies; OnBase/Nautilus, DocuSign, and scripting experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business users, vendors, and IT teams.
- Experience documenting technical processes and identifying opportunities to improve and streamline business processes.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft technologies, databases, networking, and enterprise applications.
