    Location: Willowbrook, Illinois
    Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Person
    Positions Available: Two
    Reports To: Administrative Manager
    Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour, increasing to $19.00 per hour after 90 days upon successful completion of training and satisfactory performance.

    Position Overview

    Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO) is hiring two Patient Document Coordinators to support medical documentation and patient services at our Willowbrook, Illinois office.

    In this role, you will contact patients, physician offices, and referral sources to obtain the records and paperwork needed to support prosthetic and orthotic care. Your work will help keep patient documentation complete, accurate, and organized.

    This position involves frequent outbound calls, consistent follow-up, document review, and accurate data entry. It is a patient support and administrative role with no sales responsibilities. Experience in customer service, a medical office, patient services, or a call center is helpful. Training on CPO’s systems and documentation processes will be provided.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Make outbound calls to patients, physician offices, and referral sources to request missing or incomplete medical documentation.
    • Clearly explain which documents are needed and answer questions professionally.
    • Follow up on outstanding requests and maintain accurate records of calls, responses, and next steps.
    • Review incoming documents for completeness and request corrections or additional information when necessary.
    • Enter and update patient and documentation information accurately in company systems.
    • Organize pending requests and prioritize follow-up to support timely completion.
    • Communicate documentation needs and outstanding items to the appropriate team members.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow company procedures for handling sensitive information.
    • Meet established expectations for productivity, accuracy, and professional communication.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Clear verbal and written communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
    • Comfort making frequent outbound calls and following up on unresolved requests.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Basic computer and data entry skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently and collaboratively.
    • Ability to work in person at our Willowbrook office.

    Preferred:

    • Experience in customer service, patient services, healthcare administration, a medical office, or a call center.
    • Experience requesting, reviewing, or maintaining medical records or patient documentation.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Starting pay: $18.00 per hour.
    • 90-day increase: $19.00 per hour following successful completion of training and satisfactory performance.
    • Training on CPO’s systems and documentation procedures.
