Registered Nurse

Job Title: - Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: - Snyder, TX

Job Type: - Contract / Permanent

Rate:- Open (Depend Upon Experience)

Position Purpose:

· Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting.

· Schedule Details:

· This shift is open for NIGHT coverage working 7P – 7A

· Schedule rotation is 3 on 2 off and; 2 on 3 off. They have 9 open shifts to fill within the next 2 weeks.

Emergency Department Services:-

· Two trauma beds with modern monitoring and resuscitation systems

· Three private exam rooms

· OB/Gynecology room

· Special procedures room for casts, lumbar puncture, etc.

· Observation rooms for cardiac monitoring

· Air flight services when critical needs must be met in a larger facility

Experience:-

· Previous experience in the ER.

· Knowledge of Basic computer skills; knowledge of medications at a level appropriate to the scope of licensure and professional expertise; general practice medicine and medical terminology; standard diagnostic and medical equipment and instruments.

Licenses / Certifications / Registries:

· Current RN license in the Texas State Board of Nursing. ACLS, BLS, TNCC and NRP.

Qualifications:-

Graduate from an accredited registered school of nursing.

· Ability to provide a high level of quality customer service and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Demonstrates leadership and ability to work under pressure.
