Business Systems Analyst - Mortgage Banking (Remote)

<p dir="ltr"><strong>Job Role:</strong></p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">We are looking for a knowledgeable Business Systems Analyst with mortgage banking experience to help our team develop, use and integrate IT systems; primarily cloud-based. We’re further looking for superior technical expertise and a problem-solving aptitude.

A Business Systems Analyst must be knowledgeable about mortgage banking and should have a customer-centric attitude. Communication is everything for an analyst so we expect you to amaze us with your presentation skills. </p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li dir="ltr">Understand customer requirements and business objectives</li><li dir="ltr">Provide strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals</li><li dir="ltr">Manage IT initiatives and collaborate with in-house technical staff</li><li dir="ltr">Design IT systems and networks ensuring the right architecture and functionality</li><li dir="ltr">Support new technology implementation</li><li dir="ltr">Train users in new and existing IT systems</li><li dir="ltr">Provide assistance with technical issues</li><li dir="ltr">Revise existing systems and suggest improvements</li><li dir="ltr">Promote process improvement and be an advocate for change</li><li>Elicit and document the 'what' and 'why' of a business request, separately from the 'how'</li><li>Elicit and document current and future state business and technical process flows</li><li>Analyze data and review/explain data models</li><li>Provide best practice feedback on UI functionality/design</li></ul><p><br></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li dir="ltr">At least 5 years of proven experience in IT consultation.</li><li dir="ltr">Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems</li><li dir="ltr">Experience with various operating systems and databases</li><li dir="ltr">At least 3 years of experience in project management</li><li dir="ltr">An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities</li><li dir="ltr">A team player with excellent communication, both verbal and written as well as presentation skills</li><li dir="ltr">BSc/BA in computer science, IT, or relevant field; MSc/MBA in business will be an advantage.</li></ul>
