We're looking for a Software Engineer with strong C#/.NET and SQL Server experience to contribute to the development of a mature product with an ambitious roadmap. While the role is primarily backend-focused, you'll also work across the full stack using React and JavaScript.
Working within a small international team, you'll collaborate with product, operations and engineering stakeholders to solve complex business problems, design scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality software. The team is also embracing AI-enabled development practices, making curiosity around modern engineering tools and ways of working an advantage.
Technology Stack
Core: C#, .NET, SQL Server, React, JavaScript
Additional exposure: AWS, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Redis, NServiceBus and ECS.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and enhancing backend services using C#/.NET and SQL Server
- Contributing to frontend development using React and JavaScript
- Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Participating in technical design and problem-solving discussions
- Collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, product and operations
- Using AI tools to improve development workflows and software delivery

Essential
- 3-5 years' commercial software development experience
- Strong C#/.NET development skills
- Strong SQL Server experience
- Solid backend engineering capabilities
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience contributing to technical design and solution discussions
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline
Desirable
- Full Stack development experience
- React and JavaScript
- Experience using AI tools within software development workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with product stakeholders
- Interest in financial technology or investment systems
