What You Bring
- as a Leasing Specialist You bring warmth, attention to detail, and professionalism to every interaction: 2+ years of apartment leasing experience preferred.
- 1 year experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD-Section 8, HOME, RD) required.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Basic math and data-entry abilities for rent collection and recordkeeping.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required; COS or TCS certification desired or willingness to obtain.

- Drive occupancy – market available units, respond to inquiries, and manage leasing applications and renewals.
- Ensure compliance – process applications and recertifications accurately under LIHTC, HUD, or other affordable housing programs.
- Deliver exceptional service – assist residents with rent collection, service requests, and community communications.
- Support teamwork – collaborate with maintenance and office staff to maintain high standards for property appearance and safety.
- Stay organized – manage reports, filing, and data entry to keep operations running smoothly.
