Job Summary:
• Responsible for managing inventory
• Operational, tactical procurement of goods and services
• Informing and advising departments
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
 Planning, coordinating and monitoring the flow of goods and services for the most efficient and effective implementation of business processes.
 Performing accurate administrative work with to purchase orders.
 Selecting and consulting suppliers and placing purchase orders, as well as negotiating price, quality and delivery conditions.
 Handling complaints, damage claims and credit notes.
 Manage contracts. (operational level)
 Compliance with and implementation of quality requirements and work instructions and management of supplier certificates.

Providing relevant information and advice and information to various departments.
 Initiating improvement processes with regard to the supplier / buyer relationship. The improvements can be in the areas of costs, supply chain, production and quality control.

 Knowledge of regulatory requirements
Work Environment:
 Office room environment, with moderate levels of noise
 Moderate time in warehouse, Engineering and other purchase demanding departments
 Required to work for extensive hours with a personal computer and programs
Experience:
 Essential: Experience in supply chain management and procurement within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
 Desirable: Working experience in international trade and supply chain management level
Education:
• Higher professional education or at least 5 years experience
