DEPUTY SHERIFF - Coos County Sheriff's Office

The Coos County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for Deputy Sheriff positions in both Patrol and Corrections.

Deputy Sheriffs perform a variety of essential public safety functions, including enforcing laws, investigating crimes, preparing reports, responding to emergencies, maintaining security within the jail, transporting inmates, and providing security for the courts.

We are seeking motivated individuals who are committed to public service and interested in a challenging and rewarding career in law enforcement. Whether assigned to Patrol or Corrections, successful candidates will play a vital role in protecting the community and upholding the law.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
