Overview
Kaiya Beach Resort is hiring a Project Foreman for the landscape installation side of our resort community, serving the residential HOA. This role leads installation crews from design handoff through completed install — plantings, sod, mulch, hardscape, and irrigation — on everything from single-property jobs to multi-phase development projects. This position reports to the Property Manager.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Read and work from landscape design plans, plant schedules, and site drawings
- Plan crew assignments, sequencing, and daily production schedules for each install
- Walk the site with designers or project managers before and during install to confirm scope
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for questions or scope changes during a job
Installation Execution
- Lead crews through plant, sod, mulch, hardscape, and irrigation installation
- Verify plant placement, spacing, and grading match the design plan
- Inspect completed work for quality before a job is called finished
- Troubleshoot on-site issues (drainage, grading conflicts, plant substitutions) and escalate when needed
Crew, Equipment & Materials
- Supervise and train installation crew members, including bilingual field staff
- Order, track, and stage materials (plants, mulch, stone, irrigation parts) for each job
- Operate and maintain installation equipment (skid steers, trenchers, trucks/trailers); run daily safety checks
- Maintain a safe job site and enforce safety practices
Site & Client Coordination
- Coordinate scheduling and access with property managers, HOA contacts, or on-site development teams on active development sites
- Communicate job progress, delays, and completion to the office
Qualifications
- 3+ years of landscape installation experience, including at least 1–2 years leading a crew
- Able to read landscape design plans, plant schedules, and basic site grading
- Experience installing plant material, sod, mulch, hardscape, and/or irrigation
- Comfortable operating installation equipment (skid steers, trenchers) and towing trailers
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Florida heat and humidity for a full shift
- Reliable, organized, and able to keep a job site on schedule with minimal oversight
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays to meet project deadlines
- Early start (typically 6:30–7:00 AM)
- Uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided

- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk, stand, and sit 8-10 hours per day and may have exposure to basic cleaning supply chemicals.
- The team member is occasionally required to climb and use balance. Additionally, they will frequently be asked to use their hands and arms to reach, carry, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member will experience temperature fluctuations (rain, wind, heat, humidity), and moderate to high noise levels.
