Overview
The Laundry Attendant plays an essential role within the housekeeping team, ensuring that clean, high-quality linens and towels are consistently available to support guest rooms, pool areas, spa services, and food and beverage outlets. This role works closely with Housekeeping and other departments to meet daily operational needs and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the laundry facility.

Responsibilities
- Strip, collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linens, towels, and other resort laundry items according to established procedures and sanitation standards.
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear; remove damaged items from service and report shortages or replacement needs.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely, including washers, dryers, ironers and folding stations.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of laundry facilities, equipment, and storage areas.
- Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or maintenance concerns.
- Work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely delivery and replenishment of linens.
- Support daily housekeeping operational needs and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely operate laundry equipment and follow established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Flexible availability includes evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
