Clinical Support Representative, Specialty Nursing

Position Summary
Responsible for supporting the Nursing department by ensuring timely and accurate tracking of Plan of Treatment documents in medical records software.  Individual will maximize contact with providers to obtain signatures. Team member will effectively execute the process that is consistent with the management and organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contacting prescriber offices to obtain fax numbers or prescriber email addresses via phone call
• Faxing nursing Plan of Treatments to appropriate prescriber fax number or email address
• Tracking Plan of Treatment details within the patient's electronic medical record.
• Q and A of Plan of Treatment documents.
• Obtaining provider signatures on Plan of Treatments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related experience in coordinating activities, administrative support functions, and customer service.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent detail orientation and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft business software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a nursing assistant, pharmacy technician, home patient representative, or customer service representative preferred.

• Experience obtaining physician signatures on Plans of Treatment (POTs), orders, certifications, recertifications, or other healthcare-related documentation.
• Demonstrated success in conducting provider outreach, managing signature-related workflows, and escalating unresolved items as appropriate.
• Ability to balance productivity goals with persistence and professionalism when securing provider signatures to support regulatory compliance and patient care continuity.

Education

Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma; some college preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $25.65

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
