Senior Systems Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior SRE / Platform Engineer to build and operate scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure. You’ll work closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to improve platform reliability, automation, security, and developer experience.
In this role you will…
- Design and manage highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including reusable modules and state management.
- Design and manage secure, reliable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Develop automation and internal tools using Python, Bash, and/or Go.
- Implement SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and RCA.
- Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and cloud-native tools.
- Support Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices platforms.
- Improve cloud security through IAM, secrets management, secure CI/CD, and compliance practices.
- Drive platform automation and self-service capabilities to improve developer productivity.
- Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams and participate in Agile processes.
You’ve got what it takes if you have…
- 6–10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP.
- Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proven experience with CI/CD automation and DevOps tooling.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or Go.
- Strong understanding of SRE principles, distributed systems, high availability, and production operations.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Good understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and compliance.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to work non-standard hours to provide EST overlap when required.
