Lead Welder

Maintain a high attention to safety, quality, and productivity in the welding/fabrication area MIG and Stick welding, must know how to use the torch and rosebud operation. Familiar with metals, steel and fabrications. Oversee all the container/Baler repairs. Rebuilding of truck bodies, roll-off containers and front-load containers. instructions on work orders and shop drawings and verify material and work for accuracy Prepare and process all paperwork necessary to complete orders Order and maintain necessary levels of shop and welding supplies Maintain equipment by following required preventative maintenance schedules and documenting tasks Able to interpret drawings, layouts, plan work and use sound judgment.

Observe safety procedures, assure self and others safety and report any safety issues Properly stack processed material and pack as required in preparation for shipping. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Supervise direct reports and schedule work Perform other duties as assigned
