The Assistant Bakery Manager plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our bakery, assisting the Bakery Manager in all aspects of daily activities. This position requires a highly organized and motivated individual with a passion for baking and a strong understanding of bakery operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, a commitment to food safety and sanitation, and the ability to train and develop team members. This role involves overseeing sales, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company standards.
- Supervise and support bakery staff, providing coaching and training to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste through effective inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a bakery or food service environment.
- Working knowledge of bakery operations, including baking techniques and equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Working knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Valid Driver's License.
