    Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) is a growing emergency and specialty hospital dedicated to delivering exceptional veterinary care through collaboration, innovation, and compassion.     The Opportunity
    We are seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic and expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of specialists and emergency clinicians in a fast-paced, high-quality medical environment.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead anesthesia and pain management services across a wide range of procedures
    • Develop and implement individualized anesthetic and analgesic protocols
    • Provide perioperative patient care, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes
    • Collaborate closely with surgery, neurology, internal medicine, and ER teams
    • Mentor and support technicians and clinical staff in anesthesia best practices
    • Help shape and elevate anesthesia protocols and standards of care

    What You Bring

    • DVM or equivalent degree
    • Board certification (DACVAA) or residency training in anesthesiology
    • Passion for collaboration and high-quality patient care
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
    • Interest in contributing to a positive, team-oriented culture
