Position Summary:
Patrols casino and/or is assigned to designated rotating posts throughout each shift.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes superior guest service.
- Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
- Exhibits a professional appearance, attitude, and overall demeanor.
- Protects patrons and employees from illegal activity and in times of emergency.
- Safeguards money and assets transported to and from and within the gaming facility and cashier/cage departments.
- Investigates and records all unusual occurrences and incidents within the gaming facility and maintains incident report writing.
- Verifies jackpot payouts and hopper re-fills.
- Fire command monitoring and reporting.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
- Must have a desire to assist guests and treat all guests in a consistently positive manner.
- Must be able to write detailed reports in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Must be able to work inside and outside year around.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year experience in a high-volume guest service position with exceptional service skills.
