Job Description:
The Cabling Laborer is responsible for assisting with the installation, testing, documentation and troubleshooting of Cat3, Cat5, Cat6, multi-mode fiber, single-mode fiber, and various other wiring disciplines throughout CoxHealth facilities. This position will provide support to skilled cabling technicians and will be trained on the job for back-up to these positions. This position will learn the proper use of tools and equipment using in the cabling industry. The Cabling Laborer may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary and approved by supervisor.Education: ▪ Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: ▪ None Skills: ▪ Problem solving skills. ▪ Basic communication skills. ▪ Ability to prioritize workload. ▪ Basic knowledge or willing to learn the safe operation of all tools used in the performance of duties Licensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ Required: Active Driver's LicenseJob details are sourced from the employer's original posting.
